Senapati, July 27 2017: The Maram Khullen Circle Youths and Students Association (MKCYSA) , condemning the transfer oder of Maram PHC senior most Medical Officer (SMO) in charge Dr Ngouniba Peter, has urged the State Government to revoke the said transfer order at the earliest.
A press release isssued today by the president of the association stated that the transfer order came at a time when the PHC is performing really well under Dr Peter and the transfer order has shocked the public.
It lauded Dr Peter, pointing out that he knows the local environment and often encourages the people to avail the free service of the Government medical facilitites.
It stated that the Maram PHC has become a fully operational medical aid centre rendering prompt service not only to the locals but also to people from Mao, Poumai, Upper Zalian areas, Don Bosco College students and other emnergency patients and casualities and urged the authrotiy concerned to revoke the said transfer order at the earliest taking the welfare of the people into considerstion.
Alleging that transferring of another resident doctor, Dr Shuip, without any replacement reek of ill motivation, it further urged the State Government to heed the demand of the people and the organisation and threatened to launch intense agitation if no proper and conclusive response is provided by the authority.
The Maram Khullen Circle Students and Youth Organization has condemned the transfer order of Dr Ngouniba Peter Theassociation stated that the senior most Doctor who had been posted at Maram is one of the most dynamic doctor and through him the PHC, Maram has become one of the best functional PHC in all of Senapati district.
