Take strict actions against 6 doctors: IPAK

Imphal, May 15 2021:
Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) called for actions against the six doctors who didn't report to District Hospital Ukhrul for duty.
The 6 doctors were given transfer orders on January 27, 2021 except for one which order was given on January 12, 2021 .
Even after 5 months of getting their transfer orders, they did not report to their respective work place at Ukhrul District Hospital, said a statement issued by IPAK.
This was negligence of duty and unethical professionalism and calls for strictest action against them including cancellation of their practising license, added the statement.
Their actions has caused insurmountable difficulties for the people of Ukhrul who in this trying times presented the second wave of the pandemic have been left without medical facilities for such a long time, added the statement.
