Various bodies submit memoranda to Amit Shah

Demanding the Centre to scrap the Suspension of Operation (SoO) with Kuki militants, several organisations and individuals have submitted a number of memoranda addressed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.
Yelhou Mee Kanba Lup (YEMKAL) submitted its memorandum addressed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to State Health Minister Dr Sapam Ranjan Singh.
Its memorandum demands protection of Manipur's integrity; no separate administration for Chin-Kuki; no Greater Mizoram in Manipur; withdrawal of SoO with Chin-Kuki armed groups; to bring peace and harmony in Manipur; to implement National Register of Citizens; enact proper legislation to protect the land of indigenous people; instruct Central security forces to act in impartial manner and save lives and properties of people irrespective of their community; trace all missing persons; take immediate and adequate compensatory measures for rehabilitation, resettlement of displaced people and for their return to respective home.
Imphal West Zilla Parishad Up-Adhyaksha L Boby Devi too submitted a memorandum to Union Home Minister Amit Shah today.
Afterwards, he told media persons at Manipur Press Club that on behalf of the people, he appealed to the Union Home Minister to scrap SoO and implement NRC in Manipur.
Similarly, several organisations submitted a joint memorandum addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Imphal East district Deputy Commissioner Kh Diana.
The organisations demanded withdrawal of SoO with Kuki militants and removal of all Chin-Kuki narco-terrorists and no separate administration.
The organisations include Wairi Women's Welfare Association, Taretkhul Meira Paibi, Nungoi Awang leikai Women Development Association, Sawombung Mamang Leikai Women's Welfare Association, Huidrom Meira paibi Lup, Huidrom Youth Development Club, Huidrom Village Development Committee.
