KSA celebrates 14th foundation day

Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) celebrated its 14th foundation day at the association's office in Khoyathong today.
National & International awardee H Ibotombi Khuman, KSA president Ningthoujam Chetan, IPSA president Joychandra Konthoujam and ACOAM Lup Kangleipak president Sanjit Soraisam attended the function as dignitaries.
Speaking at the function, H Ibotombi said that KSA is one among many organisations in the State, which has been playing a major role in solving many State's issues.
KSA has also been standing strong against many major issues faced by the State including ILP, CAB and the likely impact of Naga peace talks.
KSA president Chetan said that the academic atmosphere will automatically be affected if the State Government continues to neglect the demand of the teachers regarding the implementation of the 7th pay.
Appealing the Government to maintain a peaceful academic environment, he stressed on the need to formulate necessary policies to help solve such issues.
He continued that the volume of the syllabus given in schools and colleges are quite vast which makes it hard for the students during the academic session.
Although, the authorities concerned have been urged repeatedly to modify the syllabus, no positive actions have been taken up till date, he noted.
