Test results coming slow

Churachandpur has ramped up sample collection on its residents who are on quarantine following the shocking single day double digit spike in COVID-19 cases, however the test stride is yet to match the collection pace as more than 800 results are still pending as of today.
According to the district control room, 980 samples have been collected till date by the Health Department.
Of these 826 cases are pending; meaning test results have been obtained for only 154 .
In fact, 184 samples have been collected today alone and unless the test rate speeds up to meet the collection pace, the number of samples will pile up by the day.
Meanwhile, Churachandpur witnessed 265 new arrivals: 234 from Mumbai and 31 from Delhi.
There are currently 5 Institutional Quarantine Centres along with 73 Community Quarantine Centres in the district.
The figure is expected to swell in the coming days with the arrival of new groups.
