Winners for essay competition declared

Imphal, June 24 2018:
District Social Welfare Imphal West, Regional Resource and Training North East One (RRTC NE-1) and IRC A organised an essay competition in connection with the upcoming observance of International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking at DC complex, Imphal West yesterday.
Speaking to media persons, District Social Welfare Imphal West DSO, Konsam Romesh while stated that the essay competition was participated by a total of 48 students who were categorised according to their class.
Cash prize of Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 will be awarded to the top three toppers while Rs 1000 will be given as the consolation prize, he added.
A press release issued by District Social Welfare Officer, Imphal West has today declared the results of the competition.
The top three winners under senior category (Class XI to Class XII) are Yaiphabi Mayengbam of Xtra Edge School, RK Jaishree of Xtra Edge School and Juveni Aheibam of Little Flower School respectively.
And the consolation prize winners under the senior category are Anjali Konjenbam of Xtra Edge School, Marilyn Nongmaithem of TG Hr Sec School, Wangkheimayum Monorama Devi of TG Hr Sec School, Ronniey Wahengbam of HRD Academy, Thongam Bidyajit Meitei and Kh Linthoingambi of Mem Hr Sec School.
For junior category (class VI to Class VIII), Khaidem Tombisana Devi of Areca School, T Goom Singh of St patrick English School and Vinni Mangsatabam of Areca School bagged the top three positions respectively.
Ningthoujam Reni Chanu will be awarded the consolation prize under the junior category.
It appealed all the winners to collect their respective prizes at the State function to held on June 26 at JNIMS auditorium haalat 10.30 am.
