No unity, no development, says Yamthong Haokip

Imphal, June 21 2012:
"Without love and unity among the different communities settling in Manipur, there can be no development at all", MLA of Saikul A/C Yamthong Haokip has observed
He was speaking at a felicitation function organized in his honour at Keihao community hall, Saikul today.
Yamthong said that it is high time for the people of Saikul to stop looking at one another with communal feelings, but to set aside their differences and work together for peace and development.
He assured that as an elected MLA of Saikul A/C, he would take up all the required works for the development of the constituency and ensure completion of other developmental works already underway at the earliest.
Problems faced by the people with regard to water, electricity and roads will be solved on priority basis, he added.

The MLA further informed that an SDO office would be set up at Ailand village so that the grievances of the people of Keihao, Leishingphung and Ailand can be redressed.
The approval for construction of the office has already been given by the Chief Minister.
The MLA also assured to provide PDS items to the villagers on monthly basis and completion of the Suspension Bridge being constructed over Thoubal River within a short time.
The function was also attended by David Keishing, Village Head of Keihao; Kaphungpui, Village Chief of Leishingphung; Paokhohao, President of Saikul Block Congress; Social Worker Rockson Shimray and Special Contractor Gibendro as presidium members.
