GTV camps organised successfully

District administrations have successfully conducted the Go To Village Mission camps across the State Tuesday.
Here are the highlights of the programmes in the districts: .
Bishnupur: Bishnupur district administration continued the Go to Village Mission by conducting another 3 camps today at Kongkham Awang Community Hall for Nambol Municipal Council, Mayangngambam Community Hall for Bishnupur Municipal Council and Terakhongsangbi Awang Community Hall for Tronglaobi Terakhongsangbi GP.
At the camps, several stalls were opened which provided various services including animal vaccination, distribution of new LPG connections, school kits for students, saplings from Forest Department, new enrolments, corrections and Aadhaar linkage, and issuance and filling up of old age pension and low-cost latrine forms amongst others were provided to beneficiaries.
At the GTV camp held at Kongkham Awang Community Hall, Dr Roma Bai, Adhakshya, Bishnupur Zilla Parishad handed out seeds and various items to beneficiaries.
Nidhi Keshwani, Secy, PHED and Nodal Officer along with Pawan Yadav, Deputy Commissioner visited the camps.
Chandel: The district administration, Chandel conducted the 8th phase of GTV Mission camp successfully at Joupi village covering 20 villages under Khengjoy sub-division, Chandel.
Assistance and benefits of various schemes from different departments were delivered to the villagers in the camp.
The event was attended by GTV Nodal Officer for Chandel and Secy (Revenue/CAF & PD) T Ranjit Singh, DC Chandel Krishna Kumar, Col CO 29th AR Sachin Jain, Addl SP Chandel Syed Abdul Samad, DFO Chandel Kh Sanajaoba, SDOs of Khengjoy and Chakpikarong, Village Chiefs, DLOs of the district.
Churachandpur: In Churachandpur, the camps were held at Rengkai Community Hall covering 5 villages under 17-New Lamka (East) and Thingchom JB School covering about 7 villages under 19-Saikot DCC.
Attending the mission at Rengkai Community Hall, Rengkai JC Ramthanga, Principal Secretary (Cooperation) and Nodal Officer of Go to Villages Mission for Churachandpur and Pherzawl appealed the officials and the villagers to extend maximum cooperation.
Shyam Lal Poonia, IAS, DC Churachandpur, K Kabib, IPS, SP Churachandpur, Krishna Kumar, IAS (P) and other DLOs attended the camp.
Residential/Tribe/Income Certificates, Computer, school materials (shoes), saplings, agriculture materials etc were distributed to beneficiaries at the camps by different departments.
The Vety and AH Department also conducted an animal vaccination drive.
The Medical Department also conducted free medical camp.
Tamenglong: Despite heavy rain district administration Tamenlong conducted the GTV Mission at Unity Hall, Chabagan Ward No 8 in Tamenglong.
10 (ten) villages namely Rigunlong, Guigailong, Utopia, Machunluang, District Council Colony, C Centre, Farmland, Chabagan, Merrylane and Phunguang are covered under this mission.
T Pamei, IAS, Nodal Officer GTV, Ravinder Singh, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Tamenglong, D Gangmei, CEO, ADC Tamenglong, Ramning Pamei, MDC Executive Member, Tamenglong and Kachamthai Pheiga Gangmei, SDO, Tamenglong attended the programme as a presidium members.
"Go to village is a review meeting dealing directly with the people to give various schemes and benefits to those who were deprived of their rights and benefits.
And through this mission, one of the most essential projects demanded by the villagers will be implemented by the Government for each villages of Tamenglong District," said T Pamei Nodal Officer, GTV, Tamenglong.
Gaijinlung Thaimei, Executive Engineer, PHED Department also addressed the garnering and announced that the Ministry of DONER has sanctioned Rs 35 crore for construction of water reservoirs at various locations within Tamenglong town to address water shortage.
Medical Department conducted a free medical camp and provided free medicines.
13 (thirteen) sets of cooking gas under Ujjwala Scheme, ST certificates, Domicile, Permanent Residential and Income certificates were also distributed to the villagers who attended the programme today.
More than 800 people attended the camp.
Tengnoupal: District administration Tengnoupal has carried out the GTV Mission camp at Ima Kondhong Lairembi, Moreh Ward No 7.Additional Deputy Commissioner N Bankim, Moreh Police SDPO Sandip Gopaldash, Immunization Officer Tengnoupal Dr Kh Gojen, president of Meetei Council Moreh M Thoiba attended the event as presidium members.
A numbers of benefits including CMHT Cards were distributed to many in the camp.
Thoubal: In Thoubal the camps were conducted at Wangkhem AC and Wangjing Lakpa Iningthou Community Hall, Wangjing Hodamba under Wangjing Tentha AC.
Deputy Commissioner of Thoubal Haobam Rosita visited the camps and took stock of the services in the camps.
ADC, Thoubal Radhakanta, SDOs, DLOs and all concerned officials of different departments attended the event.
