Demanding immediate resumption of classes, students of various colleges in Imphal held a rally along the Tiddim Road.
The protest rally originated from Imphal College campus at Kwakeithel and marched towards Keishampat.
The protest rally was joined by students of various colleges like Imphal College, GP Women's College, Manipur College, CI College and Moirang College after a discussion was held on the development arising out of prolonged suspension of classes in a meeting at Imphal College.
Police at Keishampat Junction blocked the students from further movement.
