Machek Sampar Moses Chiru brings laurel to Chiru Community, CSU lauds

Expressing happiness on securing 7th position by Machek Sampar Moses Chiru in the BOSEM conducted HSLC Examination, 2020, the Chiru Students' Union (CSU) presented gifts to the family of the successful student today.
Notably, Machek Sampar Moses Chiru is the student of St Joseph's School, Sangaiprou and son of Machek Sampar Jacob and Huidrom Nancy Devi of Lamdangmei Village in Tamenglong district.
The achievement of Machek Sampar Moses Chiru securing position in the merit list of HSLC Exam is the first in the history of Chiru community.
CSU general secretary ISD Jackson Chiru said that the success of Machek Sampar Moses Chiru belongs to the whole Chiru community, adding that the achievement of the student has added another feather to the same community.
"CSU and Chiru people are very glad to have dynamic students like Moses in Chiru community.
He has made every Chiru people and tribal people proud by bagging 7th position in the just declared HSLCE, 2020", he also said.
Conveying that CSU volunteers have visited the residence of Machek Sampar Moses Chiru and presented simple gifts to his family members on behalf of Chiru people, although the successful student is currently out of station, the general secretary said that the simple gifts were token of appreciation.
Further noting that Chiru Community is a backward and indigenous tribal community of the State which has a very meagre population, the general secretary informed that achievements like those of Machek Sampar Moses Chiru is very rare amongst the said backward community.
