MPP flays SPF govt of rampant corruption

MPP vice president and former minister, L Jatra today came down heavily SFP government, accusing the later as most corrupted and most inefficient government ever installed in the state.
Speaking at a one-day youth political conference held at Tangjeng public ground in Wangkhem A/C of Thoubal district, the vice president said that increasing practice of corruption, MLAs engaged in contract works, induction of unfit persons in the police recruitment, doing nothing despite prolonged imposition of bandhs and blockades, converting politicians into jokers are the achievements of the SPF government.
He said that if no change is brought about at the earliest and SPF government is allowed to continue further, politicians will feel ashamed of doing politics in the state stressing the need changing people's mindset towards Congress.
Since the announcement of court's ruling on Barbary Masjid controversy, the tricks that play by Congress with the Muslims to get votes has been exposed, Jatra said drawing attention of the Muslims voters towards the MPP.
Asserting that Muslims in the state are the deciding factors in all the 20 Assembly constituency of the valley, they will take revenge to the Congress in the 2012 general election to the state Assembly.
In Bihar, people had taught a lesson to the Congress who won only four seats out of more than 200 seats Bihar Assembly, he added.
He compared the Gandhi clan based politics of Congress with Swan Flu disease and said that the disease has started spreading in Khangabok A/C.He cautioned the people from spreading the same in other constituency.
MPP president, Dr Nimaichand Luwang said that national level political parties will not take interest in checking influx of illegal migrants in the state which has become a problem for the state of Manipur.
"If we wanted to save Manipur from domination by the migrant people, handing over people's power to a regional party is a must," he added.
MPP general secretary, Th Ibomcha said that if national parties continue to rule the state, people of the state will face extinction of their own language, culture etc.
