Hospital that provides free treatment to open on Nov 1

Yelhoumee Healthcare Private Limited is all set to open a new hospital which will provide free treatment at Khonghampat Mantri Leikai, Imphal West on November 1 this year.
The newly constructed hospital will be named Yelhoumee Hospital and will be 50 bedded.
One has to buy only the medicines while treating at the hospital which will initially have three specialist doctors, namely general medicine, orthopaedics and dentist as the hospital will also provide free ambulance service, x-ray and ultrasound tests.
While speaking to journalists on the sideline of a free medical camp jointly organized by Yelhoumee Healthcare Private Limited and Hope Foundation at the premise of the newly constructed private hospital at Khonghampat Mantri Leikai yesterday, Managing Director of Yelhoumee Healthcare Private Limited, Ningthoujam Surjit informed that the hospital is dedicated to one of her late sister N Thoibi Devi who died due to typhoid many years ago.
He continued that the plan to open the hospital was taken up after considering all the difficulties and burden faced by the people, especially poor, while receiving treatment in hospitals.
Yelhoumee Healthcare Private Limited is opening the hospital with a vision to atleast save the lives of those few people who couldn't get proper treatment due to the rising cost of medical treatment.
Urging all the people who could not afford treatment for their illness to visit Yelhoumee Hospital from November 1 onwards, the Managing Director sought public cooperation in making the society healthy and vibrant.
Over 400 patients were treated during the camp yesterday.
