The bulls belonged to one Wairokpam Somarjit (32) of the locality.
He was ploughing fields using the bulls when they got electric shock suddenly.
He was evacuated to Kakching hospital and later discharged after treatment.

One of the bulls first got electric shock when they were ploughing near an electric pole in the field.

Soon, he felt shock too and jumped off the field to save himself, said Somarjit.
Waikhong police have recovered the carcasses of the bulls and have initiated investigation into the incident, said sources.
Meanwhile, citing alleged unsafe and faulty wiring over the electric pole as the cause of the incident, social worker Thoudam Shyam of the locality has appealed authorities concerned and Electricity Department to address the issue and rectify the faulty electric line in the area at the earliest.
Localities also alleged that the authorities concerned should take responsibility for the incident and compensate for the loss.
