CorCom continues its strike on Congress workers

Imphal, January 11 2012:
With the never ending bombs and bullet strikes of CorCom on the Congress workers ever since it have announced the banning of Congress indefinitely in the state, it has come up with various bomb attacks yet again to congress workers today.
Unidentified miscreants have hurled a bomb at around 7:40 this morning which exploded at the residence of one Tongbram Lukini (45) of Sagolband Meino Leirak.
He is a worker of Congress candidate Kh Loken.
None was hurt in the incident.
Another bomb was recovered by the police at the residence of one Meisnam Joy (55) of Keishamthong Top Leirak after it was hurled by unidentified miscreants at around 8:30 am today.
He is also a worker of Minister L Jayentakumar, who is a congress candidate of Keishamthong A/C .
Meanwhile, unidentified armed persons fired several rounds at the house of Elangbam Manglem of Kakching, yesterday at around 11:30 pm.
He is the President of Kakching District Congress Committee.
Police have recovered three misfired bullets and one empty case.
None was injured in the act.
Reacting against the incident, the people of the area staged a sit in protest at the waiting shed of Hiyanglam Makha Leikai.
Yet another volley of bullets was fired by unidentified gunmen at the house of INC candidate Waikhom Shyama (60) of Narankonjil Mamang Leikai early this morning at around 1 .
None was reported to habe been hurt in the incident.
In another incident, unidentified miscreants have hurled a bomb at the residence of RK Biren (55) of Nambol Thiyam Mayai Leikai at 5:00 am today.
He is an Executive Engineer of the DRDA, Churachandpur district.
The bomb was later retrieved by the police this morning.
