TNL slams State Govt

Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) slammed the BJP led State Govt for failure to address and fulfill the promises that was announced at Ukhrul in 2017 .
In a statement released by TNL president Hopingson, CSOs of Tangkhul held a coordination meeting today in the office chamber of the TNL president and discussed the various issues and problem faced by the district.
In the meeting, all the members present expressed that all the heads of each Govt Dept at Ukhrul district should be stationed at the headquarter.
TNL president stated that the ambitious programme of BJP such as "Go to village" is a total political gimmick and is a sham and added that the programme is a total failure.
He continued that even though the programme were held at different remote villages yet no benefit or visible development for the rural people were reported so far.
TNL president also mentioned about the dilapidated road condition of main town from Dungrei junction to Kharasom which is about 5 km long constructed last year which has now become so dusty due to poor maintenance.
TNL president Hopingson further questioned the non-execution of CM's special package of Rs 201 crores for development of Ukhrul district which promise for improvement of western and eastern circular road of town, construction of road from Marou to Thawai village, improvement of Lamlang, Ngainga junction to LM block via Phalee, construction of police station in Talui and Kamjong etc.
