Free eye camp organised

Imphal, June 08 2017:
A comprehensive eye camp was conducted at Library and Information Centre, Kakching on June 6 by Shija Eye Care Foundation in collaboration with New World Factitive Society.
Altogether, 470 patients were examined for eye related problems of which 59 cataracts, 41 pterygiums, 1 DCR, 2 squints, 2 entropion, 1 chalazion, 1 yag, 1 FFA and OCT, 1 glaucoma and 1 DR were diagnosed.

Dr K Romen Singh and Dr Shailendra Y, Consultant Ophthalmologists along with other supporting staff of Shija Eye Care Foundation examined the patients.
57 patients were transported to Shija Eye Care Foundation, Langol for the corrective surgery on the same day.
All the patients were discharged today after a follow-up with the specialist and were transported back to their native place.
