Issues of Jiribam students discussed

A general body meeting was held at the office of Manipuri Students Federation (MSF) Jiribam District Committee today.
A press release issued by MSF, Head Office stated that during the general body meeting, the new officer bearers of MSF Jiribam District Committee for the term 2021-2022 were appointed and oath taking ceremony of the new office bearers were also held.
It may be noted that altogether 36 new office bearers were appointed wherein A Ratan Singh has been appointed as the president of the new term.
The meeting further discussed the problems faced by the students of Jiribam in detail and a resolution was made that MSF will continue to strive for the welfare of the student community in Jiribam under its ongoing campaign 'Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamshi' .
MSF will also seek the attention of the authorities concerned to solve the problem of shortage of teachers, lack of infrastructure etc faced by the schools in Jiribam, added the press release.
In view of rising cases of drug users among the students, the student body will organise awareness programmes to lead the students towards the right path and to strive for a healthy and developed society.
