SDSA holds sanitation drive

Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) in collabora-
tion with the district administration, district police, medical
officials, staff and 98 RCC of 15 BRTF organized a sanitation
drive at the 50 bedded district hospital campus on Saturday,
our correspondent reports.
DC Jacintha Lazarus, who participated in the drive
lauded SDSA's effort to maintain cleanliness in the district
hospital.
Superintendent of Police K Kabib, urged the public to
ensure cleanliness both inside and outside the hospital.
NPO president Moses T Kamba said all must keep the
surroundings clean to prevent outbreak of any diseases.
Thanking the people for their voluntary participation,
SDSA president Pungdi Celestine appealed to the same to
ensure a plastic free zone in the hospital campus, maintain
social consciousness on the importance of clean environ-
ment and use of dustbins.
The sanitation drive was attended by CMO Dr Loli
Mao, superintendent Dr Yule, police personnel, VDF, fire
brigade officials, 98 Bn GREF personnel, Vakho youth
and students, SDSA members, SDSA unit leaders and
others.
