Modi to visit State on Feb 8

Imphal, December 29 2013:
The Prime Ministerial candidate of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and M of Gujarat Narendra Modi would visit the State on February 8 next year in connection with election campaign of the coming Lok Sabha poll.
National General Secretary of BJP Tapir Gao, President of BJP Manipur Pradesh Thounaojam Chaoba and other functionaries of State BJP today inspected the site at Langjing Kangjeibung in Imphal West where Narendra Modi would address a mass public meeting during his sojourn in the State.
Meanwhile, a membership enrolment camp was also organized by BJP Manipur Pradesh at Takyel Kolom Leikai today.
Speaking at the enrolment camp, National General Secretary of BJP Tapir Gao said that India would surely see a change next year with Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister.
The corruption-infested rule of the Congress Party would be overthrown with the coming of new BJP Government at the Centre.
He further said that Chief Minister Okram Ibobi has opened a "University of Corruption" in the State.
The Congress Government has embezzled crores of rupees from the State's exchequer.
Corruption in appointment of police personnel and other State employees has reached a new height under the Congress regime.
Moreover, the State Congress Government is involved in several scams pertaining to cleaning of phumdis at Loktak Lake, primary teachers' recruitment, PDS and others.
The BJP would arrange an air-conditioned jail in Delhi for all those corrupt Congress Ministers and MLAs, the General Secretary added.
The joining of ex-MLA of Patsoi Sapam Kunjakishore (Keba) to BJP Manipur Pradesh as an executive member was also approved by Tapir Gao during the camp.
More than 1000 people from Patsoi Assembly Constituency got enrolled as members of BJP during the camp.
