Conferences held at Khurai, Bishnupur; CPI flag unfurled

The 53rd conference of Khurai local council Communist Party of India was held today at Khurai Kala Bidya Bhavan, Khurai Sajor Leikai, Imphal East.
According to a statement, the conference was attended by State secretariat members A Lala, RK Amusana, Khurai local council senior members K Ibochouba, M Tomba, Konsam Mani and T Nandakishore, former Manager of Manipur Rural Bank Imphal branch as presidium members.
The gathering also paid their respects to 17 deceased members of the Khurai local council, CPI.
The party flag was hoisted in the presence of State secretary L Sotinkumar and this wsa followed by paying tribute to the deceased members.
Many CPI leaders from Imphal east and Imphal West also participated in the conference and put forth their input in the ensuing discussions.
During the conference, a council composed of 25 members and an executive body composed of 15 members were also formed.
CPI Local secretary of Wangkhei AC Arunkumar and O Kanhailal from Keishamthong AC were also present at the conference.
Similarly, the 12th conference of CPI/Bishnupur was held today at the party's office located in Khwairakpam.
As per a statement, Kh Bijoy hoisted the CPI flag while a delegation of about 100 people shouted slogans of "Inquilab Zindabad" .
During the conference K Bimol and Kh Ranbir read out the political draft report and organisational draft report and passed the same after a through discussion with the attending members and making the needful modifications.
Maisnam Joykumar Luwang and L Sotinkumar, State Secretary delivered speeches during the conference.
Th Sakhi Devi, National Council Member of CPI and L Sumatibala, secretary, All manipur Nupi Marup were also present at the conference.
