Silheibi, Moshan bag top honours at Online Acting Talent Hunt Competition

Silheibi Laishram and Soibam Moshan bag top places in their respective categories of the Online Acting Talent Hunt Competition 2020 organised by IPAK Films Production Manipur.
The competition was held to help acting lovers make the most of their time during the lockdown period as well as to tap their talents and skills.
Participants were asked to send their video recordings (1-2 mins long) of their most recent performances to be a part of the competition.
In the result of the competition announced today, Silheibi Laishram from Sekmaijin Awang Leikai finished first in category A, which was meant for children below 10 years of age while Charoibam Rasmita Devi of Sagolband Thangjam Leikai and Gurumayum Sharbani Devi of Abhoinagar, Tripura finished second and third respectively.
Shougrakpam Chanu Malem of Utlou Makha Leikai was named for the Special Jury Award in the same category while Bemton Khundrakpam from Khangabok Sorok Wangma got the Special Mention Award.
Meanwhile, Soibam Moshan from Mayang Imphal Konchak Mamang Leikai grabbed the top honour in the Category B (11 to 20 years) finishing ahead of Prity Nepram of Kiyamgei Awang Leikai and Brahmacharimayum Valinda Devi of Kangla Sangomshang.
Elizabeth Irom of Tera Sapam Leirak earned Special Jury Award in this category and Yaioiba Leitanthem of Uripok Khumanthem Leikai won the Special Mention Award.
The winners would be offered to feature in the upcoming Manipuri films to be produced by IPAK Films Production Manipur, said a press statement of the production firm while adding that prizes will be doled out to the talented kids very soon.
The competition was sponsored by secretary of Smart Security Service, Laimujam Pratap Singh; Thongbam Bachu; Manipur State Film Awardee B Dishiraj; Social Worker, Kangujam James Singh; vice president of Patriotic Writers Forum Manipur, Sobita Mongjam; proprietor of M/S Purnima Enterprises, Yengkhom Ranibala Devi; Fashion Designer and Make Up Artist, Kumarjit Laishram and Writer, Educationalist, Nirmala Rajkumari and other film lover and promoters of the State, the statement added.
