Global Liangmai Forum (GLF) to organise one-day seminar

Imphal, November 18 2012:
Global Liangmai Forum (GLF) is organising a day-long seminar at Liangmai Church, Imphal on December 21 with former Lok Sabha member Mani Charenamei and former joint director of Tribal Research Institute (TRI), government of Manipur as resource persons.
Mani Charenemai will dwell on the topic, "Forest and Environment in relation to Economy" while K Daimai will speak on "Tribal land rights" .
Social worker Samuel Medaliang will moderate the seminar.
It is expected that large number of Liangmai intellectuals and leaders will participate in the seminar.
Global Liangmai Forum has been formed to initiate intellectual discourses among the Liangmai community.
Albert Chawang, Angambou Kalengta, Samuel Medaliang, Tasuangwi and K Rangambou Niumai are main initiators of this Global Liangmai Forum.
It was formed on September 27 this year by like-minded Liangmais residing, studying and working across the globe.
This forum is more of an ideological think tank, a platform to reason and deliberate and also act as a 'clearing house' for ideas and dissemination of the same for our own growth, progress, prosperity and well being.
