Manipur nurses receive job offer from other States: Jayantakumar

Health Minister L Jayantakumar has conveyed that several States outside Manipur have offered job opportunities fornurses of the State.
He stated this while speaking as the chief guest of the 3rd convocation cum graduation ceremony of CMC Hospital at Koirengei today.
Stating that although there is still a lack of eligible doctors and nurses in the State, the Minister added that receiving such opportunity is a proud moment and a pride for the State as the offers were given after knowing the ability and devotion of the State's nurses.
He motivated the students who graduated and received their certificates, to keep going forward and continue their study and maintain their interest in the field.
Jayantakumar appealed the graduated students not to forget human values and maintain work ethics when they start working/earning.
Speaking about Health and Wellness Centre, the Minister conveyed that State's Health Department is initiating various welfare programmes, apart from the health sector.
Congratulating the graduated students, he motivated them to maintain ethics and be caring towards the patient as well.
CMC joint secretary health, R.Rang Peter, Rev Sister Lily Maria, St Claire Province Imphal and Rev Father John Kachipri attended the event as dignitaries.
