The Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) has condemned the statement made by Chief Minister N Biren in connection with Patriot's day observation yesterday .
A press release issued by the association today expressed disappointment at the CM's statement for allegedly trying to show the KSA's demand for protection of indigenous people in the wrong light .
It stated that the CM himself had assured every possible measure to come up with a solution to protect the indigenous people of the State but no concrete step has been taken up till now .
Condemning the statement which present the students demanding reservation of eight ACs for the indigenous people, the association added that it would be in the right direction for the authority concerned to make arrangements to fulfil the demands made by the KSA and the indigenous people of the State.
