MP Dr Lorho inspects NH-102B construction

Lok Sabha MP Dr Lorho S Pfoze, who is representing Outer Manipur parliamentary constituency, visited Churachandpur district on Wednesday and inspected progress of the work on widening of the NH-102B road.
The MP also met officials of NHID-CL including DGM D Anilkumar and project team leader Pankaj Srivastava, leaders of SSPP and others.
The MP instructed the officials to execute the work as per specification and complete it within the stipulated timeframe.
He also visited Martyrs' Park constructed near Khuga multipurpose main dam site and offered floral tributes at the memorial of nine departed souls who died while protesting against "anti-tribal" bills in 2015 .
The MP later joined a reception programme organised by Siamsinpawlpi (SSPP) at its complex at Bungmual where a memorandum was submitted to him by Zomi Chiefs' Association (ZCA) besides others.
He also visited the SSPP residential school and interacted with various leaders of the district on a wide range of issues.
He also inaugurated two staff rooms and class rooms constructed under MSDP/ PMJVK funds at Lanva Model School.
He also visited Only Grace Orphanage run by Zomi Mothers' Association at Vengnuam, New Lamka.
Tribal affairs minister Vungzagin Valte and Zomi Council chairman John K Ngaihte were also present during the visit to the orphanage.
Later in the evening, the MP distributed oxygen concentrators at DTC hall where TA (Hills) minister Vungzagin Valte, DC Churachandpur Pawan Yadav, Pherzawl DC Mannuamching and CMO district hospital Dr VC Pau besides others were present.
Oxygen concentrators were distributed to CHC Singngat, PHCs of Zezaw, Behiang, Sagang, Saikawt, Sinzawl, Henglep, Jerusalem Clinic and to CMO district hospital.
He distributed medicines to CMO district hospital as well.
