JDU state team meets Union minister Ramchandra

Imphal, July 09 2021:
A team of Janata Dal United (JDU), Manipur state led by its president Hangkhanpao Taithul met Union steel minister Ramchandra Prasad and discussed various issues including party's activities.
During the meeting that took place around 8.30am on Friday, the JDU state team extended its sincere appreciation to Ramchandra Prasad, who is also national president of party, for his recent induction into the Modi cabinet.
The team approached Ramchandra Prasad with request for visiting Manipur in view of state assembly election to be held next year and the minister assured of visiting the state.
The union minister also told the team that he was planning to visit Manipur last month but cancelled the trip in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
The minister then assured the team that he would visit Manipur after the end of Parliament session.
Apart from president Hangkhanpao Taithul, the state JDU team which called on the Union minister included vice president Wahengbam Rohit Meitei and general secretary (organisation) Haorungbam Rabikanta.
