Mt Everest institute authority clarifies; demands apology

Authorities of the Mt Everest College, Senapati came out strongly against the use of the name of the institution that appeared on print and electronic media where two women claimed to be residents of the institution.
In a press clarification issued from the institution, the acting Principal of the college clarified that there are no such persons living in the jurisdiction of the institution, where 2 persons caught for illegal frog business claimed to be presently staying at Mt Everest College, Senapati.
Earlier, 2 individuals namely Moirangthem Inao alias Kansingh, (39) and Moirang Ashan Devi, (40) from Tentha Khunou were caught by a team of Wildlife and Biodiversity Conservation Committee on September 7 .
The press clarification mentioned that the use of the institution by the 2 individuals is totally unfounded and tarnished the image of the institution asking them to serve an apology to the authorities of the institution.
The clarification also asks people residing in the neighbourhood of the institution not to use the name of the institution for matters which are not related to the institution just because of familiarity.
