WAD condemns blast

Women Action for Development (WAD) has expressed concern regarding the rapid increase of crime in the State, especially the last few months.
A press release issued by secretary, WAD, Palace Compound decried the bomb blast occurred at Thangal Bazar yesterday which injured five police personnel and one civilian.
It also expressed concern over the series of bomb blast including the blast at Tamenglong yesterday, IED blast Moreh on October 5, the bomb blast at officials quarters of Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau (SIB) at Moreh on October 7 and near Kuki Students Organisation office on October 11 .
On the other hand, it maintained that the non-disclosure of the final agreement of the Naga peace talks and the airlifting of paramilitary forces have caused unrest and fear among the people and added that the situation has become unpredictable now.
It appealed the authorities concerned to critically analyse the situation and urged the State Government to do the needful.
It further appealed to the organisation/party involved in the bomb blasts not to repeat the action.
WAD expressed solidarity to the family members of the bomb blast victims and wished the victims for a speedy recovery.
