Dr Nara to meet Karnataka CM on Loitam Richard's case

Imphal, May 05 2012:
Manipur State Secretary of CPI Dr M Nara is expected to meet the Karnataka Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda in connection with the killing of Loitam Richard, a first year student of Acharya NRV School of Architecture, in Bangalore on the night of April 17 last.
Speaking to media persons, Dr M Nara informed that an Executive body meeting of the CPI, Manipur State Council was held today at its office and discussed the issue of killing of Loitam Richard in Bangalore.
Consequently, the meeting decided to find out the truth behind the killing and send him to meet Chief Minister of Karnataka in the regard.
Dr Nara further informed that the Acharya NRV School of Architecture is a commercial organization.
There is high possibility that the institution may try to cover up all evidences that would spoil the image of the institute thereby destroying all evidences that may lead to bringing justice to Richard.
He also informed that he already had a telephonic conversation with Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa and a meeting has been fixed on May 7 .
Dr Nara would be leaving Imphal for Karnataka tomorrow.
