President of HERICOUN M Churamani said that the Merger Agreement did not mention anything about acquisition of King's Palace.
The State Government's plan to evict the King from the Palace and accommodate him in a rented house happens to be the most shocking decision of the Government.
People's sentiments are indeed hurt by such words.
The State was once put upon fire because of just three words "without territorial limit" mentioned in the Indo-NSCN (IM) Cease Fire Agreement, he reminded.
He further demanded the State Government to retract its plan to provide King's accommodation on rent within 48 hours.
Various civil organizations are prepared to launch intense agitations against such humiliating policies, Churamani warned.
Meanwhile, the protest meet against acquisition of Sana Konung completed 43 days today.
Members of Advanced Women's Society, Awang Sekmai, Kangleipak Loina Sillon Lup, Yairipok and Kombirei Keithel Meira Paibee Apunba Nupi Lup took part in today's protest meet.
