Imphal, June 04 2014:
Justifying the act of killing and burying his own two cadres inside their designated camp at Loitong Khunou Spinning Mill Complex, Chairman of the SoO- signatory United Revolutionary Front (URF) Lanheiba Meitei has said that it is a universally accepted norm for any organization to get rid of the "black sheep" in order to save the organization from any substantial harm.
According to a statement issued by the Chairman of URF Lanheiba Meitei, the two slain cadres Irungbam Milankumar alias Bode and Pukhrambam Somorjit alias Wangcha were given capital punishment for violating Charter 3 of the Article 3 of the outfit's rules and regulations.
They hailed from different factions of KCP, but joined the URF during the reconciliation.
They had repeatedly violated the outfit's rules and regulations despite several warnings and reprimands.
Lanheiba also decried repeated summoning at the NIA Court even after his surrender to the Government for joining the peace talks.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the URF cadres and their guardians was held at Napetpalli in Imphal East today.
The meet vehemently condemned the killing and burying of two cadres of the URF inside their Loitang Khunou designated camp, and expressed strong disapproval of Lanheiba's leadership.
Later, the cadres and their guardians chose Finance Secretary Angom Soviet alias Chingkheinganba as the leader of URF, and entrusted him with the responsibility of carrying forward the peace talks with the Government.
