While briefing media persons after the protest rally, Sk.

MGNREGS by State Institute of Rural Development as it is a Central government sponsored scheme and against the guidelines of MGNREGS.
So, the said scheme should be implemented directly through DRDA as it was done earlier.
Tm.
Holkhokhai Haokip, who is the Chairman of the Association, pointed out that even though the current financial year is nearing to its close, SIRD has not even released 50 percent of the work days wages to the job card holders for the current year.

It may be mentioned here that the Association has boycotted the 5-day long training programme on MGNREGS organised by SIRD which began from today.
