Talk between the Chief Minister and JAC, family members of Yanglem Naoba and Huirongbam Manichandra held today broke down.
According to sources, the JAC and family members of the victims demanded judicial enquiry to probe the death which the Chief Minister refused.
Other than constitution of judicial enquiry, both the negotiating parties are in a position to agree on most of the demands put up by the JAC and family members.
It may be recalled that Yanglem Naoba was killed by unidentified miscreants at Thoubal Nongangkhong Chabanthabi on November 30 .
Manichandra was admitted to Shija Hospitals after receiving bullet injuries while protesting the death of Naoba near Thoubal Bridge on Dec 1.He succumbed to injuries later at the hospitals yesterday.
Both the dead bodies have been lying at JNIMS Morgue.
Meanwhile, the dead body of Naoba is likely to be disposed off if it remained unclaimed by 2.30pm of Tuesday (Dec 4), according to police.
Similarly The body of Manichandra would be disposed off if no claim is made by 1pm of Dec 5 .
