BJP, Kuilong appeals

Imphal, July 03 2016:
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kuilong Segment,
Tamei Mandal, Tamenglong district has appealed to the CM of
Manipur to construct iron bridge at the Barak River which is the
inter-State border of Tamei sub-division, Tamenglong district and
Peren district of Nagaland.
The link in between Nallong-II village,
Tamei sub-division to New Puilwa village, Peren district which is
adjacent to the Barak River has a centre point connection for the
inter-State road connectivity for which the Party urges to construct
iron bridge under DONER Ministry.
The bridge connectivity will
boost the economic condition and livelihood of both State.
Kuilong area comprising of 22 villages with non-function-
ing SDC circle remains the most backward area in the hill
districts of Manipur.
Therefore, BJP Kuilong Segment urges
the CM of Manipur and the local MLA Z Kikhonbou Newmai
to take joint initiative for the construction of bridge at Barak,
which will be the lifeline for the border people of Manipur and
Nagaland, said the press release issued by former BJP can-
didate, Kuilong-I segment Dist Council Liangkebou Pamai.
