"Taaruge Meeyamgi Waakat" mission launched

With a bid to hear plight and aspirations of people of Kshetrigao Assembly Constituency and to take necessary action, NPP State General Secretary (Organisation) Sheikh Noorul Hassan has today launched a mission titled "Taaruge Meeyamgi Waakat" .
Launching the mission at his residence at Top Khongnangmakhong Kshetri Awang Leikai, Sheikh Noorul Hassan said that the Kshetrigao AC is one of the most underdeveloped Assembly segments in the State.
The Assembly segment has 46 polling stations, said the candidate who is aspiring to contest in the upcoming General Election and adding that he will cover a polling station each day and personally connect with the people and assess their conditions and needs.
While assuring to make all possible effort to address the grievances of the people before the General Election, he also promised to complete the mission within 100 days of "his election as the MLA of the Assembly segment" even if his outreach mission fell short before election.
"I have been working sincerely to help build houses for poverty stricken families, aiding many families to get a sustainable livelihood, extending forms of assistance to youth and students", he said.
He however expressed he faced restraints in fully reaching out to the people and thus the mission was perceived.
He also sought support from the public to make his mission a successful one.
Kicking off his mission, Sheikh Noorul Hassan also visited one of the financially backward households of Kshetri Awang Leikai and heard their grievances.
He also opened a new office of NPP at Kshetri Awang Leikai later in the day.
