PLA celebrates raising day

The proscribed People's Liberation Army (PLA) has celebrated its 33rd raising day together with the people amid vigour and zeal, informed a press release issued by the RPF Publicity Secretary T Leisemba.
The main function was held at the party's general headquarters by unfurling the PLA's flag.
After receiving a parade given by PLA cadres, Chief of Army Staff Mm Ngouba gave a speech to instil greater zeal and courage for the liberation movement.
This was followed by presentation of PLA's war practice.
Sports events were also held as a part of the raising day function.
The same function was also held in all the bureaus, departments, battalions, units and tactical headquarters where the messages of the party's president, CAS and SG were read out.
The outfit also conveyed gratitude to all the people and revolutionary groups based outside the State who sent greetings to PLA on its raising day as well as all the people of Manipur who contributed their mite in celebrating the raising day successfully in spite facing several risks.
It conveyed deep gratitude to the media.
