Nara leads CPI road show on last day of campaign

Imphal, April 16 2019:
A large number of people including senior citizens, women and youngsters held a road show of CPI candidate Dr Nara today.
The road show was flagged off by CPI leaders from Dr Nara's Singjamei Thongam Leikai residence at 8 am.
Standing atop a Gypsy, Dr Nara led the road show.
From Thongam Leikai, the road show proceeded to Singjamei Parking from where it took a U-turn and headed South along Imphal-Moreh highway.
The long convoy of four-wheelers and two-wheelers then took Mayai Lambi after passing through Lilong Ushoipokpi and Lilong Dam.
The convoy which also included publicity vans then headed towards Sekmaijin, Mayang Imphal and Mayang Imphal Bengoon before turning back North.
It then reached its starting point after passing through Keishamthong, Singjamei etc.
While many elderly persons blessed Dr Nara all along the route of the road show, a considerable number of people travelling in their own vehicles joined the road show at different points of the route.
The road show was participated by people belonging to different communities.
Some youngsters who identified themselves as Manipur University students told this reporter that they see Dr Nara as a man of integrity and a qualified politician.
They said that they were participating in the road show to show their support to Dr Nara.
