CCpur, April 29 2016 :
Even as relief materials are yet to reach the people affected by the recent spate of intermittent windstorm in the State, another set of storm accompanied by hail again hit the region last night adding to the woes of the people.
The windstorm that began around midnight ripped-off the tin roof of the Deputy Commissioner's office here and left a trail of destruction in the adjoining localities with at least 5 houses reportedly damaged in Tuibuong's Laizon Veng.
The storm also uprooted the compound fencing of a Church and several residences in the locality.

It also completely ripped-off the roof of a house at New Lamka and the Sunday School building of a Church there.
Several other houses also reportedly suffered partial to major destruction in the same locality.
The philanthropic organisation YPA has since early today begun rehabilitation exercise for those affected.
The houses that have been rendered unfit for occupation were dismantled and those partially destroyed had been rebuilt.
The families who houses are completely razed have taken shelter at the SSA residential school.
Power supply to the town and its vicinity has also been snapped by the thunderstorm and it it yet to be restored even at the time of filing this report late in the evening.
