Camping has become another attraction of the Shirui Lily Festival as many from different parts of the State and beyond have opted to enjoy the serenity of nature.
This Correspondent witnessed many travellers packed with essential camping equipment rushing to select their campsites and others climbing Shirui Hill to see the famous Shirui Lily.
Several camp sites have been set up from Ukhrul Town to Phangrei Hill Range beyond Shirui village.
Some of the camping sites host musical and other entertainment shows inviting local musicians to deliver their best numbers.

Speaking to the media, some of the visitors said that the Shirui Lily Festival has also created a platform to make new friends and meet old ones.
According to them, the price fixed for camping is affordable and all the essentials are readily available at the campsite.
Shirui Lily Festival is being celebrated in three different separate venues.
The Shirui Lily Festival was elevated to a State level festival in 2017 and this year's edition is the fourth.
In 2020 and 2021 the festival was not held due to the Covid pandemic and the resultant lockdown that was imposed across the country.
