3 trains arrive from Mumbai, Hyderabad, Goa

Jiribam, May 26 2020:
Two special trains from Hyderabad and Goa reached Jiribam railway station today.
The train from Hyderabad brought 252 State natives and it arrived at Jiribam at 7.55 am today and it was the 12th train which brought back stranded Manipuri people.
The 252 passengers included 130 males, 115 females and seven children.
As usual, they got down from the train in district-wise manner.
After completion of screening and other procedures, the passengers were taken to their respective districts.
The buses for Ukhrul and Noney districts left first followed by those of Pherzawl, Churachandpur and Bishnupur district.
The last bus left the railway station for Jiribam at 10.22 am.
The train from Goa arrived at Jiribam railway station at 1.40 pm and it brought back 861 State natives.
It was the 13th train to arrive at Jiribam.
By 6.50 pm, all the evacuees had left for their respective districts in separate buses.
The 11th train reached Jiribam railway station at 1.52 pm yesterday and it came from Mumbai with 1610 Manipuri people.
They included 688 from Ukhrul and Noney, 351 from Churachandpur and Pherzawl, 40 from Chandel and Tengnoupal, 234 from Imphal East and Kamjong, 146 from Kangpokpi and Senapati, 22 from Thoubal and Kakching, 35 from Bishnupur, 99 from Imphal West and three from Tamenglong.
All will undergo quarantine.
