COHSEM declares Class XII results : Girls top merit list in all 3 streams

Imphal, May 22 2023:
The Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) declared the results of higher secondary examinations 2023 today.
Girls outshone boys in the examinations with girls bagging all the top spots in the three streams, Science, Arts and Commerce.
Students of Tamphasana Girls' Higher Secondary School, Imphal bagged the top positions in both Arts and Commerce stream.
Overall pass percentage of Government schools stands at 84.34 percent while other schools' pass percentage stands at 90.09 percent.
A total of 36,717 enrolled for the Class XII examinations and 36,212 appeared in the examinations.
A total of 32,111 cleared the examination with an overall pass percentage of 88.68 percent, slightly lower than the overall pass percentage of 90.09 percent in the 2022 examinations.
A total of 11,105 Arts students appeared in the examinations and 9,439 of them cleared it.
The pass percentage of students in the stream stands at 85 percent.
24,304 Science stream students appeared in the examinations and 21,996 cleared it.
The pass percentage of the students of the stream stands at 90.50 percent.
803 Commerce students appeared in the examinations and 676 cleared it.
The pass percentage stands at 84.16 percent.
