Sadar Hills leaders reach Delhi

To present their case for upgrading Sadar Hills to the status of a district to the Prime Minister, a team of Sadar Hills leaders left for Delhi today.
Sadar Hills ADC Chairman Seipu who is currently camping at Delhi informed The Sangai Express that he is camping at Delhi together with Kangpokpi AC MLA Thangminlen Kipgen, Saitu AC MLA Haokholet Kipgen and Saikul AC MLA Doukhomang Khongsai.
The delegates also include leaders of SHDDC leaders as well as former Ministers C Doungel and Ngamthang Haokip.
The decision of the Sadar Hills ADC Members to resign from their posts if the people's demand is not fulfilled remains unchanged, Seipu said.
He said that they would lay down their resolution for mass resignation very clearly before the Prime Minister.
Earlier on August 11 a team of Sadar Hills Districthood Demand Commitee left Imphal for Delhi to seek an appointment with the Prime Minister where the case of Sadar Hills would be presented.
