IRS (Retd) officer targets SH MLAs

Retired officer from the Indian Revenue Service, Tongmang Haokip has issued a statement alleging that the three MLAs of Sadar Hills had appended their signatures on an agreement with the JAC Sadar Hills that they would resign from the Assembly if Sadar Hills district is not inaugurated within october this year.
The retired IRS officer said that the three MLAs appended their signature with the pledge that 'in the even of failure to inaugurate Sadar Hills within October '16, we the elected representatives of Sadar Hills will not contest the Assembly election 2017 and we will unanimously tender our resignation from the legislature and Legislative Assembly fortwith' .
Copies of the documents on which the three MLAs reportedly signed were also submitted by the retired IRS officer.
Now the true test of leadership will be seen if the three MLAs resign or moral ground or they will try to find excuses, said the statement.
