3 villagers found dead

Imphal, November 30 2014 :
Three persons from New Tusom village, Ukhrul district were found dead under mysterious circumstances at a jungle in Kamphaiyo area in Ukhrul district.
The deceased persons were identified as Raingam Shatsang (35) S/o (L) Katawon; Chihanpam Vashum (34) S/o VS Ngathingkhui and Shimreiso Vashum (38) S/o (L) Phungam.
They were living with their families at New Tusom village.
It is reported that all the three persons were hunters who set forth for a hunting expedition last Thursday.
They were supposed to return home the next day.
The villagers went out in search of them when they failed to return the next day.
Their bodies were spotted lying in the deep jungle around 2 pm.
The place where the corpses were found is the boundary area of three villages - Kuingai, Tusom and Razai.
The exact cause of their dead is expected to be ascertained only after conducting autopsy or medical examination.
New Tusom is located 130 kms away from Ukhrul district headquarters.
The corpses are yet to be brought back to their village.
