Imphal, July 27 2021:
Anjuman Falah-e-Bashar, Sangaiyumphal Part-I has condemned the brutal assault and killing of Moulana Riyasadh alias Boicha of Sangaiyumpham Sabal Leikai along with the assault and burglary allegations levelled against two other people on July 20 evening.
In a statement issued by its president Moulana Mubarak Ali Qasmi, Anjuman Falah-e-Bashar said that Riyasadh, who was about to get married, was assaulted on July 20 by a group of people who not only cut off his tongue but also attacked his private parts, before brutally murdering him.
The group also mercilessly beat up two other people and accused them of thievery.
"Accusing an Ulma of being a thief is an attack on all the other Ulmas of the state.
Anjuman will never accept the act of killing an innocent person and later framing them with a crime that he/she had never committed, while the guilty people are allowed to roam freely.
Such situations have raised questions whether the government has given permission to kill innocent people indiscriminately", it remarked.
Demanded the authority concerned to understand the sentiments of the people and investigate the matter so as to arrest those involved in the mob lynching case and deliver justice to the victim's family; the body also extended its full support to all actions undertaken by the JAC concerned in the future.
