Imphal, May 26 2015 :
The erstwhile Vajpayee-led NDA Government dreamed of 'India Shining' but could not last long and sunk.
In a similar situation today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government at the Centre is dreaming of 'Acche Din' and this time again, the Government will sink.
This hard-hitting attack on BJP came from Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi on Tuesday.
He along with Deputy CM Gaikhangam and other Congress leaders attended a public meeting for ADC Election cum the 125th Birth Anniversary Celebration of Dr BR Ambedkar at Ukhrul district.
The function was held at Wunghal village of the district.
Speaking at the function, CM Ibobi said that various Union Ministers from the Centre are giving false promises to the innocent voters, thereby violating the code of conduct.
He added that these ministers are also misleading the hill public by promising better funds for development in hill areas, which in fact, is not possible without the State government and they should know that they cannot bypass the authority of the State Government while delivering the promised funds.

The infrastructure in the State have been established by the Congress Government and no BJP Union Minister has so far brought any development project to the state, except attending mere inauguration functions and foundation stone laying events, said the Chief Minister.
CM Ibobi further said that it is indeed very shameful for State president Th Chaoba to share dais with Union Ministers in state functions.
He added that Union Ministers, irrespective of their parties, represent the hopes and aspirations of the all the Indian people.
He also appealed the Naga People's Front (NPF) to fight the ADC election in a peaceful and transparent manner.
Deputy CM and state Home Minister Gaikhangam also expressed his personal opinion on the present issue of encroaching areas of Dzkou valley by Nagaland side.
He appealed to UNC and NPF not to be 'penny wise and pound foolish' in this matter.
He questioned NPF and UNC on their failure to take a strong stand when the territory of Manipur Nagas are being threatened.
Gaikhangam further added that state NPF should talk with the Nagaland government as they are in good terms, and also UNC, which is an apex Naga body, should do something significant in this matter as ''calling someone's beautiful mother as our own would be a stupid attempt'' .
He also attacked on the series of visits of BJP Union Ministers to Manipur ahead of the ADC elections of June 1.Gaikhangam said that Union Ministers leaving aside their important offices and duties and touring states to campaign for 'local body elections' is an uncommon thing, and added that these can be seen only during Narendra Modi's government.
All these violations of election code of conduct by the Union Ministers would even irk the PM himself, if he comes to know about the false and tall claims being made here.
He suggested the BJP government not to do make such violations.
Gaikhangam also accused the BJP-government for going against the real Hindu Philisophy and Dharma with its anti-secular tactics and agenda.
Later, both CM and Deputy CM claimed that Congress will have a thumping win in the coming ADC elections.
