'JNIMS facing severe shortage of grade IV employees'

Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Imphal is facing severe shortage of grade IV employees, said sources speaking to The Sangai Express today.
A grade IV employee who doesn't want to be named said that the particular employees of the institute are working with little or no break from morning to night.
They have worked without food on many occasions, said the employee narrating the ordeal they are facing because of the shortage of grade IV employees.
The employee further claimed that those who are stationed at the operation theatres suffer the most.
The employee further alleged that the contract basis employees are facing the maximum hardship in the institute.
They had appealed the Medical Superintendent for recruitment of grade IV employees but, the superintendent had said that he is in no position to recruit the employees, alleged the employee.
The employees further appealed the Government and authorities concerned to look into the shortage and recruit adequate grade IV staffs for better functioning of the institute.
