He elaborated on the cause of the landslides in Sirakhong village, Ukhrul and the earth fissure/ crack which developed in Kalikhol village, Kangpokpi district .
According to his survey and finding, the Sirakhong village without consulting experts constructed a huge playground by chopping down all the trees in the area .
He planted willow trees at the periphery of Sirakhong village ground and asserted that the cheapest way to prevent landslides is to plant more trees and willow trees can withstand even in water.
