'Manipur government has totally collapsed'

National Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI),AB Bardhan has made a written statement to the Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan telling him that the government of Manipur has totally failed and Centre's intervention is required, said CPI state secretary Dr M Nara.
Speaking at a press conference at Irabot Bhawan today, Dr M Nara further said that AB Bardhan had made this written statement after CPI, Manipur state council members met the National leaders at New Delhi on the 25th of this month and discussed on various state issues.
The Parliamentary session which have no time discussing the issues of Manipur rather than the Ana Hajare issue , is very unfortunate.
There has been blockade and counter blockades in the NHs of the state giving the people of the state a pretty hard time, was also mentioned in the written statement, said Dr Nara.
His statement further said that the present situation of the state, if continued, will have an adverse effect to the life of the people.
The central government needs to come up with a specific plan to solve all these problems, he said.
AB Bardhan in his written statement further said that since the state government cannot solve the prevailing problems faced by the people, President's Rule should be imposed in the state.
