MASLSA gives hand sanitizers, face masks and water bottles to hawkers, IMC workers

Imphal, April 29 2020:
As a continuation of the awareness campaign on "Health Advisories and Safe Practices" in connection with COVID 19, hand sanitizers, face mask and water bottles have been distributed to the hawkers and IMC workers deputed in and around Imphal area today by Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA).
A press release issued by MASLSA said that the programme was led by Ojesh Mutum, Additional Member Secretary, MASLSA and Sorokhaibam Sadananda, Deputy Member Secretary along with staffs of MASLSA.
In the said campaign, kits consisting of hand sanitizers, double-layered face masks and water bottles were distributed to a total of 346 hawkers early from 2.30 am to 5 am at Tidim Road near Sangai Express, Imphal West and to a total of 120 IMC workers from 8 am to 9.30 am at Samu Makhong area, Imphal West.
All the hawkers and IMC workers were also given awareness on "Health Advisories and Safe Practices" in connection with COVID 19.The campaign is an on-going process and will further reach out to other frontline workers in the coming weeks, said MASLSA.
